Gail Perreault
Knowledge Manager, Boston
Gail Perreault joined Bridgespan in 2003. As knowledge manager for the firm’s funding and youth work, she collaborates with members of the consulting staff to advance Bridgespan's knowledge base in these two areas. She also contributes to related knowledge dissemination activities, ranging from publications to events.
Prior to assuming her current role, Gail was Bridgespan’s director of knowledge management. In that capacity she led the organization’s efforts to codify insights from its client engagements and guided the development and management of Bridgespan’s intranet.
Gail has also served as Bridgespan’s managing editor, during which time she contributed to many of the organization’s publications. She co-authored the article "How Nonprofits Get Really Big" (Stanford Social Innovation Review, 2007) with Bridgespan partner William Foster, was an active contributor to Bridgespan’s “Leadership Deficit” and “Growth of Youth-Serving Organizations” research and writing, and shaped and edited several case studies.
Before joining Bridgespan, Gail spent four years as a consultant at Bain & Company, where she worked extensively with consumer product and healthcare clients on their key strategic issues. She was also one of the early members of the firm’s private equity group.
Gail received a BA in Mathematics and Physics from Bowdoin College summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
