Group Consulting: Increasing Organizational Effectiveness

Bridgespan offers a consulting service which engages a group of nonprofit leadership teams to identify their organizational strengths and weaknesses, and to develop action plans to increase their effectiveness.

Philanthropy Advising

Bridgespan’s engagements with philanthropy focus on results. We cultivate relationships with individuals and foundations with big ideas for making the world a better place, who seek roadmaps for enabling and accelerating social change. We seek opportunities to help them maximize the impact of their resources.

Leadership Program: Leading for Impact

Leading for Impact brings together nonprofit executive directors/CEOs and their senior team members in a six-month-long program to build capabilities across the critical dimensions of highly effective nonprofit leaders and their teams. This is an opportunity to explore content and tools used by Bridgespan in our work advising nonprofit clients, to apply those tools in meeting organizational priorities, and to do so in partnership with a select group of nonprofit leaders.

Join one of several online networking communities hosted by Bridgespan to exchange ideas, best practices, and network with peers in the nonprofit sector. Education

A high-quality education has the power to break intergenerational cycles of poverty. Significantly increasing college readiness and completion rates for low-income/minority students will require a substantial transformation of teaching and learning. Bridgespan supports organizations that seek to make unprecedented progress toward increasing college readiness and completion for low-income/minority students.

Environment

Low-income populations are disproportionately affected by environmental degradation and climate change. Bridgespan's environment work focuses on building the capacity of NGOs working at the intersection of environmental issues and disadvantaged populations, to equip them to more effectively help their constituents cope with these challenges.

Funding Strategy

In nonprofit organizations, funding strategy should be as thoughtful and intentional as its program strategy. Through our work, we provide support and resources that can help nonprofits and foundations develop funding strategies that increase sustainability and impact.

Global Development

Deep social issues besiege disadvantaged populations beyond US borders: poverty; indifference for human rights and equal opportunity; inadequate access to health care, shelter, food, water, and education, and many more. Bridgespan's global development work aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged populations outside the US by helping emerging philanthropies and social sectors accelerate their development and maximize the impact of their programs.

Youth Development

There are more than 700,000 teen pregnancies each year in the US. Over 40,000 children live in foster care, and about 5 million 16 to 24 year olds are out of school or work. Bridgespan works with organizations committed to overcoming these challenges to help ensure every young person reaches his or her potential and lives a healthy, productive life.
