High-Impact Philanthropy: Giving Better Across Asia and the World
Asia is home to more billionaires than any other part of the world. But it is also home to more than 185 billion people who live on less than US$2.15 a day, according to the CAPS Doing Good Index. As much as US$702 billion in philanthropic capital per year could be unlocked if Asian countries were to match the United States in terms of philanthropic spending.
Bridgespan’s new research, developed with the support of the Institute of Philanthropy, identifies the 20 largest global and Asian institutional philanthropies and spotlights the practices they employ to produce high impact. The goal is to illuminate practices that might inspire institutional philanthropies, especially in Asia, to give better, to give faster, and to give more.
