To our community:
As we approach the end of the year, we wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you—thank you for the work you are doing in your communities and your organizations, and thank you for allowing Bridgespan to be a part of your support network. We’re grateful to be in community with you.
For this, our last Leaders Matter newsletter of 2021, we wanted to share a few pieces from other leaders in the sector, which may inspire you as you head into the new year, as well as a complimentary webinar to help you get the most from your leadership team meetings in 2022. We hope you have a chance to take a look at them, and most importantly, we hope you have a chance to rest, spend time with friends and family, and rejuvenate over the holidays.
We’ll be back in 2022 with more content, tools, webinars, and perspectives to share!
Warmly,
Preeta Nayak and The Leaders Matter Team

And lastly, a note of celebration from GivingTuesday. On November 30, 35 million adults gave back in multiple ways around the globe, a 6 percent increase over 2020. In the US, giving totaled $2.7 billion, a 9 percent increase. As Cofounder and CEO Asha Curran notes in this press release: “Our hope is that this boost of generosity is an inspiration for continued giving, kindness, and recognition of our shared humanity each day of the year.”
