Mission statement:

Cathedral High School is a college preparatory school that provides a quality private education to young women of all faiths.  Established in 1905, the school’s mission is to achieve excellent educational results while challenging our students to become productive members of society who will conduct themselves with maturity, moral integrity and a sense of social justice.  Nearly all of CHS’s students are daughters of immigrant working families.  Cathedral continually enhances its academic curriculum and extra-curricular activities so that all students graduate with the skills necessary to be successful in college and careers thereafter.  The school’s graduates attract admissions offers and generous financial aid (class of 2019-$27 million) from prestigious colleges and universities and go on to excel academically and beyond.
