CommunityConnect Labs provides innovative, award-winning mobile-first solutions, as well as training for nonprofits and governments, to connect and engage with marginalized, vulnerable communities. Focus areas include getting minorities and immigrants counted in the 2020 Census. The 2020 Census in jeopardy, putting at risk $700 billion in funding for schools, hospitals, food stamps, and other vital services. Accurate data is essential for fair redistricting from local school districts to State legislature and Congressional districts. Other areas of focus is access to Earned Income Tax Credit and Low-Income Utilities Assistance.
Who You Are:
You have 5+ years of successful online marketing experience at a growing consumer website where you have led strategy and teams. You are an imaginative digital marketing leader with a successful track-record in developing and executing ambitious integrated campaigns across direct marketing, content marketing, partnerships, and social media. You bring a strong eye for visual content, impeccable attention to detail, and crisp writing skills. You are a creative thinker and a proactive doer. You want to make a significant impact by connecting millions to worthy social causes.
Lead strategy and execution of creative, storytelling campaigns to spark generosity and action
Create strategies and tactics to implement high-traffic integrated campaigns for Census 2020 solutions that raise engagement and visibility
Develop, create, and test content to optimize success
Collaborate cross-functionally (product, technology, and partner operations) to develop, launch, and grow successful integrated marketing campaigns
Monitor campaign and channel success metrics; identify levers to improve performance
Build and leverage strong partner relationships to collaborate on marketing campaigns
Position CommunityConnect Labs as a leader in the mobile-messaging and nonprofit spaces
Bring critical thinking and innovative solutions to solving complex marketing challenges
Understand gaps in data across channels, articulate why, and lead steps to optimize results
Lead strategic and day-to-day marketing management, including managing freelance writers, designers, social media manager, video editors, and other project advisors and consultants

This is a Full-Time position based in Redwood City, CA. Strong preference for SF Bay Area candidates. Remote applicants considered under specific circumstances.

We offer generous benefits and a salary commensurate with the market rate at growing technology nonprofits. Expected salary is 50% below private-sector market rate marketing management roles.
