To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the homeless and needy and empower them to change their world.
After successfully leading our ministry organization for 26+ years, our current President/CEO has announced his retirement, effective at the close of 2020. It is for this reason that we have opened our search to identify our next CEO, one who will lead Bay Area Rescue Mission into our next season of ministry. Our intent is to bring our next CEO on board so that our retiring CEO and new CEO will have an opportunity to work together to facilitate a smooth and strong transition. The right candidate will be a Godly professional and proven leader who excels in execution of vision and has a heart to reach the broken and homeless with the transformational hope and love that only Christ offers. The CEO is the primary Shepherd/Leader of the ministry and is responsible for oversight of Finance, Administration, Development/Fundraising, Programs, Human Resources, and Operations. Responsible for the appropriate use and protection of ministry assets and for the integrity and solvency of Mission finances.
