Vice President, Partner Management

The Partner Management Team plays a critical role in cultivating exceptional experiences and unceasing value for ANet partnerships by acting as a trusted advisor, identifying and educating them on opportunities, and serving as a liaison with ANet cross-functional teams to best meet their needs with constant growth in mind. The Vice President, Partner Management will own the vision for the Partner Management Team, build teams and strategies aligned to that vision, all while directly owning relationships with strategic partners, ensuring confidence in their partnership investment and ANet's products and service offerings.

The ideal candidate is passionate about and has a record of success managing and leading teams, cultivating and building long-term relationships as the key point of contact for a portfolio of strategic partnership relationships, serving as a liaison between the partner and ANet's cross-functional teams. They have a strong background in project management, strategic planning, sales support, operationalizing systems to support strong account management, and can quickly build a working knowledge of ANet's product and service design and offerings focused on growing and maintaining partnership and revenue goals. The Vice President, Partner Management will manage a team of Partner Managers and will be a senior member of ANet's Partnership Success team.


Set a clear vision and compelling direction for the Partner Management team

? Create a vision to deliver a scalable account management function ensuring adoption, partner satisfaction, advocacy and retention of ANet's products and services

? Orient the team's work around advancing equity in ways that are meaningful to the system and school communities in which we work

? Lead team to develop clear goals and priorities that operationalize systems and structures for how the Partner Management team executes toward a successful ANet partnership journey

? Coordinate cross-functional team collaboration and communication structures that align internal processes to a memorable partnership experience

Build and retain a high performing team

? Build and maintain a strong and diverse team with an inclusive culture that leverages the individual and collective strengths of all team members anchored in a strong performance culture and ANet's mission and vision

? Manage and develop team members towards excellence in their role and with an eye toward their long-term leadership contributions

? Ensure meaningful development for all team members, retention of high performing team members, and the team is organized to meet the evolving needs of the organization

? Support talent acquisition processes including cultivating diverse people for the team and organization, interviews/salary negotiations, and final approval of team hires

Serve as trusted advisor and throughline for partners

? Develop and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with key strategic partnerships, stakeholders and executive sponsors

? Manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships, as needed

? Proactively build knowledge and expertise by participating in relevant educational opportunities and professional organizations, reading professional publications, maintaining personal/professional networks

? Serve and support partners with a variety of mediums, including email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in-person meetings

Lead and navigate internal coordination of products and services toward team and partner goals

? Support development of partnership success metrics and progress monitoring cycles to further learning and execution of Partnership Journey

? Coordinate with internal cross-functional team members to ensure partners receive consistent and exceptional service

? Ensure team provides timely and successful delivery of our products and service offerings aligned to partner needs and objectives

? Track and maintain records of partner interactions in the appropriate CRM or CSM

? Review and communicate team's monthly/quarterly initiatives progress to internal and external stakeholders - constantly diagnosing, understanding progress and performance, and providing enhancement recommendations

Oversee maximization of existing partnership relationships while pathing towards multi-year partnership renewal and expansion

? Review tracking of budget timeline for existing partnerships to ensure team's timely and strategic renewal conversations throughout the year

? Support team to identify opportunities to appropriately grow service and product offerings with existing partners

? Thought-partner with internal cross-functional teams, including Partnership Development and Service teams, to onboard and integrate new partners and develop existing partner relationships

? Forecast and track key partnership account metrics including the monitoring and analysis of partners' product usage and service experience

Support internal ANet growth and improvement

? Capture and codify partner management best practices to build a model for system- and school-level account management

? Serve as an internal thought partner to consistently improve system- and school-level impact, define the customer life cycle and elevate the partner voice

? You are willing to travel to the partner schools and systems contingent upon organizational, state and federal regulations

? You have a passionate commitment to and a sense of urgency for the support of schools, along with a belief that all students can achieve at high levels
