Role Summary
The DEI Learning & Development Lead role will lead the design, development and implementation of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion learning agenda. The Lead will also be responsible for the management, direction, and serving as the primary liaison from the CoE for the DEI Division Leads. This role will provide oversight and direction to support the DEI Strategic Framework and the capability development in all areas of DEI for the foundation. This role will manage curriculum development for targeted groups, in close partnership with HR and other key partners. Role will serve as an internal Subject Matter Authority and provide management and connection for all external SME consultants. The Lead will be deeply involved in Measurement, Learning & Evaluation (MLE) and responsible for the overall management of the MLE framework for the DEI CoE. The Lead will interact with all levels of the foundation to drive the overall learning and development agenda and build positive relationships across the organization.

Qualifications:

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall design, development, and implementation of the DEI Learning & Development agenda. Functions as the leader and primary liaison between the DEI CoE and the designated DEI Division Leads. Responsible for overall planning, partner management, oversight, and infrastructure development. Will assist with member identification and development and alignment of Division Lead activities to the DEI framework, expectations and measures (40%).

  • Create and manage broad curriculum development for targeted stakeholder groups (i.e., senior leaders, team managers, etc.) in close partnership with Organizational Development, Chief DEI Officer (CDEIO), internal and external experts. Role will serve as subject matter senior advisor to identify and integrate DEI learning and development into business priorities, principles and operations which enable achievement of foundation DEI commitments and goals. Leverage existing and emerging learning agendas that support program teams directly (30%).

  • With CDEIO, provide general oversight of external SME consultants - including vendor management, development and direction-setting. Will provide thought partnership and guidance on learning approaches, tools and key drivers across the foundation (15%).

  • Lead Measurement, Learning & Evaluation program for DEI, serving as key liaison with internal partners to shape and disseminate MLE framework and results, (10%).

  • Other key learning & development activities (5%).

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or other related advanced degree, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, 15+ years preferred. Graduate degree preferred or equivalent blend of education and experience.

  • Must have subject matter expertise in DEI. Minimum 15 years' experience including designing and delivering adult learning / education programs, training program design and delivery, Human resources, and/or diversity and inclusion-related roles.

  • Experience designing and implementing learning agenda in a complex, matrixed organization. Ability to synthesize and translate data, research, organization insights into range of learning and development interventions.

  • Strong track record and demonstrated skills in building and managing relationships at all levels of an organization.
