Mike Soskis is a principal in Bridgespan’s Boston office. Since joining in 2016, he has supported a variety of foundations and nonprofit organizations, including multiple large, national networks. His work has focused on strategic planning, growth strategy, and performance measurement. Mike has also led research projects studying social mobility in rural communities and co-authored “Preventing Obesity and Excessive Weight Gain in Young Adults and New Parents”.
Prior to joining Bridgespan, Mike worked as a consultant in the Washington, DC office of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). His projects at BCG spanned the retail, finance, IT, and healthcare sectors, focusing on organizational effectiveness, customer insights, and product innovation strategy. Previously, Mike oversaw food operations and supply chain management at the on-demand healthy dining start-up Sprig.
Mike has nearly a decade of professional experience in the biomedical sciences, researching cancer, addiction, and developmental neurobiology. He earned a PhD in neuroscience from Harvard University where he was a public service fellow. He also holds a BA in physics from Yale University.
