Niloufer Memon

Partner, Johannesburg

Niloufer Memon is a partner in and one of the founding members of Bridgespan’s Johannesburg office. Previously a manager in the Mumbai office, Niloufer has worked with philanthropists and nonprofits on the topics of strategy development, operating models, and capacity building. She has expertise across a number of issue areas, including in education, public health, and land rights. During her time at Bridgespan, Niloufer has served clients in India, Africa, the UK, South East Asia, and the US. She is the co-author of  "Bold Philanthropy in India: Insights from Eight Social Change Initiatives,” "When Bold Philanthropy Drives Social Change,” “Philanthropy and the COVID19 Response in India,” and “Community Engagement Models to Tackle COVID 19 in the Slums of Mumbai.”

Niloufer joined Bridgespan from Dalberg Global Development advisors where she worked on a multi-actor collaborative designed to accelerate digital payments in India for financial inclusion. She has also worked in for-profit consulting at Deloitte and KPMG, where she advised clients operating in the healthcare and pharmaceutical spaces.

Niloufer holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from BITS-Pilani in India.
