Philanthropy’s role in a family: Wallis Annenberg sees it as unifying now, but potentially destructive later

Wallis Annenberg involved her children from the start. As a result, the Foundation is “the glue that holds four adults together.” However, she believes that foundations in perpetuity are not a good idea, so she’s leaving the Foundation’s future up to her kids.
