Uniquely Memphis: Barbara and Pitt Hyde turn a “tragic site into something positive”

The Lorraine Motel, where Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated, was a painful reminder for Memphis. The Hydes and others stepped in to turn it into “something positive.” The Civil Rights Museum now commemorates the heroes of the past.
