Michael Collins

Michael is currently a partner at Bain & Company, the global management consulting firm, and is currently managing Bain’s portfolio of specialized consulting firms which range in focus from digital innovation and design to procurement solutions.

He has previously served in numerous global leadership roles at Bain, including as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure as COO and CFO the firm more than tripled in size while continuously being recognized publicly around the world as a great place to work – ranking as the #1 company in Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work multiple times, as well as Glassdoor’s #1 Best-Led Company in 2024.

Over the course of his 30-plus year career at Bain & Company, he worked with management teams to develop and execute growth strategies, evaluate acquisitions and divestitures, improve capabilities and implement organizational change. He has assisted clients across numerous industries, including retail, consumer products, telecommunications, automotive and media and entertainment.

He brings extensive experience in strategy, leadership and global management in professional services.
