Alyson Zandt
Principal, BostonAlyson Zandt is a principal in Bridgespan’s Boston office. She joined the firm in 2018 and has focused on helping nonprofit leaders and their funders develop strategies for impact at scale.
Alyson works with organizations at key inflection points to clarify their highest-impact role, choose pathways to scale, and align strategy, capabilities, and funding to support durable growth and systems change. Her experience spans economic mobility, workforce development, criminal justice, and technology-driven approaches to scaling impact.
She co-authored "A New Look at Strategic Pathways for Solving Social Problems at Scale" (Bridgespan.org, 2025) and "Three Questions for Nonprofits That Want to Solve Social Problems at Scale" (Bridgespan.org, 2025), which draw on Bridgespan’s research and advisory work with organizations seeking to address social problems at scale.
Prior to joining Bridgespan, Alyson was a program manager at MDC, a nonprofit focused on advancing equity and economic mobility in the American South. There, she led research on strategies to expand opportunity and supported place-based philanthropies in developing investment approaches to address systemic barriers.
Alyson holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
