Bhawna Prakash

Bhawna Prakash is a partner in Bridgespan’s India office. Since joining Bridgespan in 2026, her work has focused on strategy, program design, and government-philanthropic engagement for the organization’s clients.

Before joining Bridgespan, Bhawna was a consultant to organizations including Dasra, The Convergence Foundation, and the International Finance Corporation. She was also a senior fellow with the India and Emerging Asia Economics Chair at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where her research focused on water, sanitation, and urban development.

Previously, Bhawna spent 14 years at Ernst & Young India, progressing from consultant to partner in the Government & Public Sector practice. She advised government agencies, philanthropic organizations, and private sector clients to design and implement transformative projects. She led projects on sustainable cities, urban governance, infrastructure, water, and wastewater. Earlier in her career, she worked with McKinsey & Company and Tata Consultancy Services.

She is currently an adjunct fellow (non-resident) with CSIS and writes on public policy issues focused on water and urban development.

Bhawna holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, where she was a fellow in the Edward S. Mason Program in Public Policy and Management. She is also a qualified Chartered Accountant in India and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from the University of Delhi.
