Bryan Cortes

Manager, San Francisco

Bryan Cortes is a manager in Bridgespan’s San Francisco office. Since joining Bridgespan in 2020, Bryan’s work has focused on strategic planning and organizational operating models across a range of clients with a focus on climate and environment. Bryan also served as a coach for Bridgespan’s Leading for Impact® program in Los Angeles and helped author Bridgespan’s seminal research article on climate philanthropy, “Winning on Climate Change: How Philanthropy Can Spur Major Progress over the Next Decade”.

Bryan joined Bridgespan after obtaining a dual master’s degree in public policy and an MBA from the Harvard Kennedy School and MIT Sloan School of Management. While in graduate school, his interests and exploration focused on issues of financial inclusion and economic justice. Prior to graduate school, Bryan worked as a financial analyst for a wealth management firm in New York City.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Bryan is a first-generation college graduate and earned a degree in Economics with honors from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Bryan is also an avid reader and likes to collect presidential memoirs and biographies.
