Juliana Rivera

Manager, New York

Juliana Rivera is a manager in Bridgespan’s New York office. At Bridgespan, she has supported a range of impact investing, philanthropy, and nonprofit clients, with a focus on strategic planning, systems change, and impact measurement. Her passions and expertise include climate, environment, and racial equity.

Juliana’s impact investing work has included impact due diligences for large private equity firms and impact measurement for a leading impact investing firm. In addition to impact investing, she has also worked with national network nonprofits to develop their racial equity strategies with the goal of strengthening their internal culture and operations, as well as program delivery. Most recently, Juliana supported a national disaster relief nonprofit to refine their strategic initiatives focused on scaled impact and systems change. She has also supported a national civil rights organization to assess the current and potential impact of their direct service and systems change programs and an institutional funder to develop a strategy to support proximate leaders of community develop organizations.

Prior to joining Bridgespan, Juliana’s career spanned the private and social sectors, including financial services consulting and nonprofit capacity building.

Juliana holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, where she was a Consortium fellow, a scholarship for students dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University, where she graduated Cum Laude. A New Jersey native, she has since found her way back home, and now lives in northern New Jersey with her husband Carlos and beloved rescue dog, Arnold.
