Kayla Powers

Senior Manager, San Francisco

Kayla Powers is a senior manager in Bridgespan’s San Francisco office. She partners with funders, collaboratives, and nonprofit leaders to design ambitious strategies and strengthen their operating and financial models. Her clients have included the Black Freedom Fund, The Audacious Project, Harlem Children’s Zone, Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and high-net-worth donors focused on immigration and education.

Kayla is a leader in Bridgespan’s Economic Security and Opportunity area of expertise, in which she explores innovative approaches to economic systems, the future of work, and financial well-being. She has also served as an executive leadership team coach in Los Angeles via Bridgespan’s capacity building program, Leading for Impact.

Prior to Bridgespan, Kayla was a consultant at Bain & Company, where she supported private equity diligences, organizational transformations, and pro bono education projects. She holds an MS in Management Science and Engineering, and an MS/BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
