Rohan Agarwalla

Manager, Mumbai

Rohan Agarwalla is a manager in Bridgespan's India office. By managing delivery of strategic advisory services to civil society organisations and philanthropists, he hopes to contribute to building a more vibrant, prosperous society, globally but particularly in his home country, India.

Prior to his role as manager, Rohan had been a consultant with Bridgespan for two years, where he worked with several NGOs, global foundations, and domestic CSR organisations on subjects ranging from growth strategy, fundraising and grantmaking approach, operating model transformation, general program design, and conceptualisation of an Engine II of operations. His select clients include Project ECHO & ECHO India, JSW Foundation, Tara Climate Foundation, and VAAGDHARA. Rohan has a deep interest in issue areas of health and rural development. He is also a firm believer in the power of collaborative philanthropy, on which he has steered multiple sector-wide convenings, with organisations like The Gates Foundation.

Rohan received his MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and completed his studies in chemical engineering from NIT Allahabad. Before Bridgespan, Rohan was working as a management consultant at Accenture Strategy for 3 years. He lives in Mumbai, along with his wife, Neha, and loves spending free time reading Indian contemporary history and politics, catching up on movies, and, of late, spending time at the gym.
