Siyasanga Hayi-Charters

Siyasanga Hayi-Charters is a manager in The Bridgespan Group’s Johannesburg office. Siya joined Bridgespan in 2021 and has worked with both philanthropy and nonprofit clients across several fields, including healthcare, education, and human rights. Example clients include Project ECHO, the Global FoodBanking Network, and Open Society Foundations. Siya has also co-authored Bridgespan publications focused on philanthropy in Africa, including The Landscape of Large-Scale Giving by African Philanthropists in 2020 (2021) and Disparities in Funding for African NGOs (2021).

Prior to joining Bridgespan, Siya was an associate consultant at Bain & Company. She is a South African-qualified attorney and holds a bachelor of laws and bachelor of commerce from the University of Cape Town,as well as a master of business administration from INSEAD.
