Sohini Pal

Editorial Director, Delhi Satellite

Sohini Pal is an editorial director based in Bridgespan’s India office. She works with teams across Asia and Africa as a thought partner, helping shape and deliver insights for funders, nonprofits, and impact investors.

Sohini is coauthor of “Five Bold Bets to Reduce Climate Vulnerability of Informal Communities in Urban India,” (Bridgespan.org, 2025) and “How to Assess Community-Driven Change: Four Guiding Principles for Funders and Nonprofits,”(Bridgespan.org, 2025). With more than a decade of experience, she has developed expertise in crafting narrative solutions at the intersection of research, advocacy, and behavior change. Her work has spanned development issues including maternal and child health, immunization, gender, livelihoods, and mental health.

Prior to joining Bridgespan, Sohini worked with the social impact division at Meta, served as a senior manager at Global Health Strategies, and was a commissioning editor for several of India’s leading publishing houses.

Outside of work, Sohini is an advocate for mental health. She writes frequently on the subject and has hosted support groups across India. She holds a master’s degree in English literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and a certificate in Design Thinking and Innovation from Harvard Business School.
