Tanuj Gupta

Tanuj Gupta is a manager in Bridgespan’s India office, based in Mumbai. He advises philanthropies, CSR organizations, and nonprofits on strategy, funding, and impact.

Tanuj’s work includes supporting collaborative philanthropy efforts, designing large-scale CSR initiatives, and advising and coaching nonprofits on growth and fundraising strategies. At Bridgespan, he has worked across sectors including livelihoods, women’s economic empowerment, education, health, and climate. He has also contributed to the firm’s thought leadership through his work on “Practices That Power CSR Talent and Governance in India” (Bridgespan.org, 2025).

Prior to joining Bridgespan, Tanuj worked at Arthur D. Little, where he advised clients on strategy, investment decisions, and commercial due diligence across India, Europe, and the Middle East. Earlier in his career, he worked at Citibank in foreign exchange markets and client management roles.

Tanuj holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, where he was recognized on the dean’s and merit lists and received the Torchbearer Award. He is also a Chartered Accountant and holds a BCom (Honours) from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
