
Vallish Shankar
Chief Architect , BostonVallish Shankar is the Chief Architect in the technology department, based in Chicago and affiliated with the Boston office. In his role, he is responsible for the Bridgespan technology architecture strategy and design, systems evolution, best practices, research & innovation, technology advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
Vallish is a strong believer in the ability of technology and data insights to enable realization of business strategies and make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. He has three decades of progressive experience helping organizations with technology capability maturation, digital transformation, cloud enablement, and data platform foundations to successfully deliver meaningful business outcomes. Prior to joining Bridgespan, Vallish served in technology and leadership roles in banking, insurance, retail, hospitality, and consulting sectors with companies such as Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Ulta Beauty, JPMorgan Chase, OfficeMax and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Vallish holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering and is a life-long learner. When Vallish is not tinkering with technology, he spends his time traveling, hiking, biking, flying airplanes, sailing, and reading books.
