Pay-What-It-Takes India is a multiyear, collaborative initiative aimed at building a stronger and more resilient social sector in India. To support the initiative, The Bridgespan Group surveyed nonprofit leaders in 2020 and again in 2025 to understand the adoption and evolution of true-cost funding practices in India and to surface the challenges nonprofits face in meeting their true-cost needs.
