Manny Maceda, Worldwide Managing Partner of Bain & Co., Joins The Bridgespan Group Board

The Bridgespan Group announces that Emmanuel (Manny) Maceda, Worldwide Managing Partner of Bain &Co., joins its Board of Trustees.

BOSTON, MA—November 29, 2021—The Bridgespan Group today announced that Emmanuel (Manny) Maceda, Worldwide Managing Partner of Bain &Co., has joined The Bridgespan Group’s Board of Trustees.  

As a career management consultant, Maceda was named worldwide managing partner of Bain & Company in November 2017 and took the helm in March 2018. He is the first Asian-American leader in Bain & Company's history.

According to Bridgespan Board Co-chair Tom Tierney, “Manny’s engagement is a reflection of the many ways that Bain & Co. contributes to furthering The Bridgespan Group’s mission. We look forward to benefiting from his experience, wisdom and leadership.” Tierney is himself a former worldwide managing partner of Bain & Co. and is a Bridgespan co-founder.

Tierney’s Board co-chair and President of Echoing Green Cheryl L. Dorsey said, “We are at an exciting point in Bridgespan’s growth and development and I am confident Manny’s global experience and work facilitating corporate transformations involving strategy, growth, and organizational effectiveness will make him an invaluable resource as we seek to support social change leaders and organizations.”

Manny holds an MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Chemical Engineering (magna cum laude) from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Bain, he worked with E.I. Du Pont de Nemours in the Engineering Plastics Group and with Unocal Corporation in Refinery Process Engineering. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the MIT Sloan School of Management.
