Aditi Sharma
Principal, JohannesburgAditi Sharma is a principal in Bridgespan’s Africa office, based in Nairobi. She has more than 10 years of experience supporting clients spanning nonprofits, philanthropies, development agencies, and governments on strategy, sourcing and diligence, policy and program management, and monitoring and evaluation.
At Bridgespan, Aditi has contributed to both advisory and knowledge-generation efforts focused on community-driven change, education, rural development, and nonprofit resilience. She has been part of Bridgespan’s multi-year, multi-stakeholder collaboratives, including the Pay-What-It-Takes India Initiative and Community-Driven Change.
Aditi has coauthored several publications, including “How to Assess Community-Driven Change: Four Guiding Principles for Funders and Nonprofits” (Bridgespan.org, 2025), “Community-Driven Change: Demonstrating Impact in Africa and India” (Bridgespan.org, 2024), and Funder Practices That Strengthen Nonprofit Resilience: Lessons from India (Bridgespan.org, 2023).
Prior to joining Bridgespan, Aditi worked in the Health, Human and Social Services practice at KPMG India, where she partnered with government and development agencies on social protection and inclusion, sanitation, and sustainable livelihoods. She also authored and contributed to knowledge publications on sanitation, gender, and impact investing.
Aditi holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Bristol, U.K. and a Master of Science in development studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She is fluent in English and Hindi. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, playing musical instruments, theatre, and spending time with family and friends.
