
Ying Yap
Manager, SingaporeYing is a manager in Bridgespan’s Singapore office.
At Bridgespan, Ying has worked with philanthropists, foundations, family offices, and impact investors across multiple issue areas including climate, health, and workforce development. Her work has spanned strategy development, impact measurement, and portfolio-building across philanthropy and impact investing. Ying has supported a family office to build a climate mitigation strategy and portfolio in agriculture and nature. Her role entailed identifying key barriers and promising pathways globally and in Asia, alongside designing new initiatives and collaboratives to be incubated in the region. Most recently, Ying has been supporting the launch of a health-focused philanthropic collaborative, focused on addressing maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition in Asia.
Before joining The Bridgespan Group, Ying worked with Visa Inc. on corporate strategy for Asia Pacific, which included crafting multi-year roadmaps for key markets, developing viable economic models for new business lines, and strengthening operating models. She also previously worked in the digital innovation team for Southeast Asia, partnering with financial institutions and other stakeholders to reach the financially underserved.
Ying holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA (First Class Honors) from the National University of Singapore.
