At the Bridgespan Group, we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion make our teams better and ultimately position us for stronger impact with clients. The case for this commitment is well-documented by our own and others’ data, which shows that:
Teams with diverse voices, experiences, and talents perform better
An inclusive and equitable environment where colleagues from all backgrounds can thrive maximizes our impact
Teams that include proximate voices and perspectives are best positioned to add value for clients
When designing solutions, an equity focus that centers the needs of those most marginalized results in better outcomes for everyone
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
ERGs are a critical element of how we support and maintain a diverse, multiracial organization. These groups are open to all of our colleagues.
ERGs are designed to:
Provide a space for colleagues with a shared identity and/or interest in issues related to the shared identity to form relationships in service of their Bridgespan experience (particularly across hierarchy, role, and office).
Serve as a vehicle for colleagues to share cultural and heritage traditions with each other and raise awareness.
Allow colleagues to coalesce around shared experiences or an interest in issues related to that experience.
At The Bridgespan Group, we have four ERGs:
